Bent Alchemist by Will Purdy http://www.willpurdy.com
Pipes. Yeah, it's a weakness, I admit it. Love the collecting of pipes, and I have some goals on that score. Depending on availability since the artist’s work comes and goes out so swiftly, I plan to pick myself up something by Will Purdy. His Garlics are my favorite, hands down, though his explorations into the Alchemist series are things to watch as well...not to mention the Cornucopia line! Okay, I like the Squat Tomatoes almost as much as the Garlics, yet a Garlic, one day, is what it shall be!

A purdy Will Purdy Garlic.
(This is close to the one Steven gave David in Episode Two, only it was a Curled Garlic. Spent a little time adding a couple pictures to the story pages. Just keeping busy as a bee here.
)
Okay, so I can dream at least, right? I mean, when the average price is around $400.00 and easily up from there by twice, well...
Sighs, just saw a Molina Poker I actually like, do not have a single one (a Poker) in my collection and I have really been looking. Simple, straight stemmed, yet bowl section with touch of curve forwards, it is a Rustic Cob briar. Only $39.99, yet alas, I must let it pass. Matter of bad timing and all that, ah well. One day soon!
So upset because I can not find anything by Philip Trypis anywhere anymore. Canadian carver, but it has been a couple years since anything has been available over here. Kicking myself so badly, yet again, what can one do? No funds at the time, so I shall cherish my two that I do have, try not to crunch through the bits in a fit of mad typing. LOL

The Tsuge long-stem Emile bought me for Christmas 2006!
Bad image, too dark I know, just a quicky snap off the cuff.
Oops, speaking of the hubby, I just got, ahem ‘reminded’ that it is time to get back to work, start packing here. Not that we have anywhere to go, only stuff does need to be thrown out...
Will/may add edit this later.
Catch you later, folks,
Melissa
