Chillin after work

  • Mood - Activity: Chillin' after work
  • Smoking Blend: Fox & Hound in a basket pipe
  • Tea Levels: Black Currant

A quick snap I just did of little old me, the nut behind the keys, simply because I felt like it.

Now to the early evening muse.

Today was last day of work...so that we can really get down to WORK! Lol.

Gorgeous day out today, sunny, perfect temp. yet the shop was still busy despite it being a Saturday. Everything timed well though, managed to get a bunch of vines yanked off the house in prep of the house painter starting sometimes within the next few days. Wore gloves and so far so good as far as no poison ivy spots showing up.

Think the 'vibe' is going out to the cosmos though, saw a lot of old faces stopping in today. No, no one has a clue...except for one lady, a friend of ours who called up, saying it had been too long and she wanted to come see us.

Emile goes "Well, you better hurry up," then drops the bomb-shell. Customers walked in a bit later so he had to nix the phone conversation, yet in was clear she was loosing it. Called back later and of course we had time. Arrived with more tears, told us that yes, she did lose it.

Hey, it won't be bad though, not like going across country or anything. Maybe an hour and a half, two tops away. Still, after some time sitting in the back yard chatting, playing with Miss Jinx the cat it was sort of hard there when she left. Swear to gods, this thing is tearing our heart out, still, am smiling now because again, we KNOW there are some mighty good times ahead. Ones which are going to have us asking "why did we wait so long?"

Beyond that, when she first arrived (after not seeing each other since early Spring) asks if I had lost any weight? Well, I thought I had, my pants getting loose, though when I ask Emile he said no, the washing machine just stretched stuff.

Thanks, hon.

Well, I had to check. Scales...who likes them, eh? Most of my life till age 25 I was 99 lbs. When 30s came and I hit 137...well, I gave up on scales. (Note, this is when the fibromialgia really hit and I had to stop working at the gallery, cut my 4 days down to 1, etc.)

Stepped on it today, fully dressed in my hanging jeans and jewelry, the works...and it just touched 120. Guess overwork is good for something, eh? *snorts*

Did 3 aura reports for people, one very nice lady who is allowing me to post her image (when I get the chance) was most cool. Blew the 7th (Crown Chakra) right off the scale. Had a huge, almost neon green, brilliant glow around the head like a column rising right off the screen. I asked if she was a channel and you bet your butt she was. Whew, no kidding! The higher powers, spirits, what you will are beaming down and through, no ifs ands or buts.

Now beyond that, I am really feeling the day at the moment. Got a lot of sun while pulling those vines, also did some scraping of windows, so that is it at least for now. Maybe I'll touch bases back around midnight or something.

Cheers and blessings for now,

Melissa
